Is there a limit?
Published on July 8, 2005 By MountainDragon In DesktopX Development
I've run into a weird problem with a desktop theme: DesktopX crashes when I try to load a new image for an object that I'm adding to the theme. It doesn't have a problem if I add an object and use an image that is already in the theme.

Is there a limit, either in number of images, or total size of images loaded, for a DX theme?

I have plenty of memory.
I do notice that DesktopX is using 1620 handles.
Any help or more info is appreciated.

In old versions of DX there was a limit as to the number of states an object could have but I believe this is no longer the case.

Okay, I got it figured out - it was very late last night
For some reason, CorelDraw had defaulted back to making a png with no transparency, and this file was not digestible for DX. It most likely is a Corel bug, but who knows? It's working fine now using my usual export parameters.
